Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia: from 2027, data about children will no longer be included in international passports

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded citizens of the upcoming changes in international passports - they will no longer include data about children from January 1, 2027. TASS reports this with reference to the department.

This decision was made due to frequent refusals of entry into unfriendly European countries - minor Russians without foreign passports were not allowed into these states, even if their parents had a mark on the presence of children. At the same time, passports previously issued with the appropriate mark will still be valid until their expiration date.
