Ministry of Education: 220 vocational colleges have been selected to create a "national team" of skilled colleges and universities

Reporters learned from the press conference held by the Ministry of Education today that the Ministry of Education has launched the second phase of the "Double-High Construction Plan" to implement the deployment of classified reforms in colleges and universities, focusing on the "new dual-high" concept of "high-level education capabilities and high-quality integration of industry and education", and selected 220 vocational colleges to create a "national team" of skilled colleges and universities.

These schools serve 110 national economic development zones, 88 high-tech zones, and 44 free trade zones and other economic factor gathering areas; the proportion of serving regional industries with trillions, hundreds of billions, and tens of billions is 26.8%, 43.9%, and 22.9% respectively, and the proportions of serving primary, secondary, and tertiary industries are 6.1%, 72.5%, and 21.4%, building a vocational education service network that adapts to regional industrial development.

A national industry-education integration community has been established in seven fields, including rail transit equipment, urban renewal, and industrial machinery. It has promoted industries and enterprises to open 283 major engineering projects and real production scenarios, 60 key laboratories and technology centers, invested more than 700 production equipment, decrypted 529 standards and specifications, and jointly promoted the cultivation of high-skilled talents. In terms of the integration of industry and education, enterprises and universities have each taken a step forward to realize the direct supply of talents to industrial positions.
