Khagundokov’s accomplice will be tried in a separate proceeding.

MOSCOW, September 16 - RIA Novosti. The court sentenced 49-year-old Aslan Khagundokov to 24 years in prison, who in 2012 with an accomplice stabbed a man to death in Moscow, the capital's prosecutor's office told RIA Novosti.

The court found that in the evening of November 2012, Khagundokov and his accomplice attacked the victim in the courtyard of a house on Sadovaya-Spasskaya Street, stabbed him, and then fled. The man died at the scene.

Law enforcement agencies clarified to RIA Novosti that we are talking about the murder of an employee of the Social Insurance Fund (FSS) Oleg Gvozdev.

“Taking into account the position of a group of public prosecutors from the Moscow prosecutor’s office, the court sentenced Khagundokov to 24 years in prison to be served in a maximum security penal colony, with a restriction of freedom for two years,” the press service of the prosecutor’s office reported.

Khagundokov was found guilty of murder by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.

In addition, the court satisfied the victim’s civil claim for compensation for moral damage. The case against the accomplice of the convicted person was separated into separate proceedings.
