Taean-gun, the 25th Anmyeondo White Sand Beach Praetor Festival held from the 12th to the 19th

(Taean = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Yun-deok = Taean-gun, South Chungcheong Province announced on the 9th that the 25th Anmyeondo White Sand Beach Prawn Festival, where you can enjoy the true taste of wild prawns, one of the best fall delicacies, will be held from the 12th to the 19th.

Anmyeondo Baeksajang Port is the largest wild prawn distribution center in the country.

During the festival, a variety of events are held every day, including a chance to catch a prawn with your bare hands, a free prawn tasting session, and an auction show.

For family tourists, there will also be a children's experience zone and a safe family mat zone where you can leisurely enjoy the atmosphere of the white sand beach.

An official from Taean-gun said, “Anmyeondo, which is in season, is considered the essence of a fall gourmet trip due to its unique savory taste and chewy texture,” and added, “We hope you will make precious memories by tasting fresh prawns along with the outstanding scenery such as the wide West Sea, the famous giant crabs of White Sand Port, and the footbridge.”
