Its commercial section will be officially opened on the 25th.
On September 22, the South China Regional State-owned Enterprise Open Day and the Sixth Media Enterprise Forum of China Construction Eighth Engineering Group No. 1 Company were held here. The reporter visited this new landmark known as the "Heart of Hengqin" on the spot.

The project is located in the middle of Tianmu River in the Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, adjacent to the Macao Special Administrative Region, with a total construction area of approximately 240,000 square meters. It is a landmark complex integrating urban planning exhibition hall, conference and exhibition, hotel office, commercial and cultural tourism and other diversified business formats. The project is based on the design concept of "Ying·Rhyme". The streamlines of the building are inspired by traditional Chinese musical instruments such as the guqin and the pipa. Half of the "body" is a water structure and the other half is a reflection in the water, deeply integrating traditional oriental aesthetics with modern construction techniques.
It is reported that the China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau project team used laser scanning and reverse modeling technology to accurately fit more than 500 special-shaped ultra-large glass curtain walls to the curvature of the building and polished it to create a smooth and clear "harp surface" texture. It used 7,200 tons of steel to create a strong frame and long-span ultra-high continuous roof, forming a strong "harp bone" that can withstand strong typhoons, supporting the windward side of Hengqin's largest single building.
Viewed from a high altitude, a large number of arc-shaped and hollow structures are interspersed with each other. Roof gardens, rotating walkways, and sunken squares are distributed among them, just like a complex and exquisite guqin lying flat.
In order to better present the flexible outline of the building, there are more than 10 large arc structures with a diameter of more than 50 meters on this building, and nearly a hundred small arc structures with a diameter of more than 10 meters. The structure of the 18-story building changes layer by layer. The project team has deployed nearly a thousand measurement control points in total, and measured key parts "step by step" to accurately restore the smooth curve of the "body".
The "Double-Shuang Bridge" that crosses the interior of the building is like a "bow", connecting the north and south banks of the Tianmu River and is an important transportation line on the island. The project team optimized the process interleaving and divided it into 45 construction sections to realize the alternating operation and simultaneous "growth" of the main body of the piano and the bridge of the bow, so that the complete form of "the piano lying on the blue waves and the bow passing through it" was presented as scheduled.
In order to create a natural island style, the project is scattered with beaches, flowers, waves, plank roads, waterfalls and other landscapes along the 1-kilometer coastline. The waterfront greenway connects multiple spaces such as commercial shopping, strolling and leisure, and exhibition business. The buildings shine in the sun and their reflections shine in the night, blending in with the Bay Area scenery.
It is reported that since the Hengqin Tianmuqintai project was put into operation, it has successively opened the cooperation zone planning exhibition hall, Tianmuqintai Conference and Exhibition Center, and Water Sports Center, fully supporting the implementation of the "one convention and exhibition, two places" model of serving Qin'ao convention and exhibition.
