Traffic on a number of streets and embankments of the capital will be limited on September 26 and 27 in connection with the Moscow Marathon.

On Saturday, traffic will be limited on Kosygina Street, Vorobyovskoe Highway, Berezhkovskaya Embankment, Taras Shevchenko Embankment and other streets and embankments.

On Sunday, traffic will be limited on Kosygina Street, Vorobyovskoye Shosse, Vorobyovskaya Embankment, Berezhkovskaya Embankment, Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya and Sadovaya-Karetnaya streets and other areas of the city.

As previously reported, the capital will host the annual Moscow Marathon at a distance of ten and 42.2 kilometers this weekend, which is why traffic in a number of areas of the city will be limited. Parking there will also be prohibited on September 26 and 27 from 00.01 until the end of the events.

So, on Saturday from 00.01 to 13.00 it will be impossible to drive along Kosygina Street from Vernadsky Avenue to University Square, and from 07.30 to 12.15 - from University Square to Vorobyovskoye Shosse, and traffic will also be partially limited on Vorobyovskoye Shosse from 08.00 to 12.30 and along Berezhkovskaya Embankment, along Taras Shevchenko Embankment, in side passage of Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street and along the Borodino Bridge until 12.50.

On the same day, traffic along the Smolenskaya embankment will be partially blocked until 13.00, along the Rostovskaya and Savvinskaya embankments until 13.10, on the Novodevichy and Luzhnetskaya embankments until 13.20, and Luzhniki Street will be partially blocked until 14.00; in addition, until 16.00 on Sunday it will be impossible to drive along Universitetskaya Square in the area of the parking pocket at the intersection with Kosygina street.

On Sunday, traffic will be partially blocked on Kosygina Street and on Vorobyovskoye Highway and Vorobyovskaya Embankment - until 12.00, on Berezhkovskaya Embankment, in the side passage of Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street, on Borodinsky Bridge and Smolenskaya Street - until 12.20, as well as on Smolenskaya Square, on Novinsky Boulevard, Bolshaya Sadovaya Street and in the Mayakovsky Tunnel - until 12.45, and sections of Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya and Sadovaya-Karetnaya streets will also be closed until 13.00.

At the same time, from 08.30 to 13.20, traffic will be limited on Tverskoy Boulevard, until 13.40 - on Tverskaya Street, from Tverskoy Boulevard to Mokhovaya Street, on Bolshoi Putinkovsky Lane, on Strastnoy Boulevard and on Petrovsky Boulevard, until 14.00 - on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, until 14.10 - on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, until 14.15 - on Sretensky and Chistoprudny boulevards, until 14.20 - on Pokrovsky and Yauzsky boulevards, until 14.45 - on Serebryanicheskaya, Kostomarovskaya and Poluyaroslavskaya embankments, in Kostomarovsky Lane and on the Kostomarovsky Bridge.
