A long-awaited rain fell in Busan.

According to the Busan Regional Meteorological Administration on the 16th, as of 12 noon on this day, 15 mm of precipitation was recorded at the official observatory in Jung-gu, Busan.

Although there has been localized heavy rain in some areas recently, looking at the statistics from Busan's representative observatory, it showed significant rainfall for the first time since the 21st of last month.

As the rain fell, the daytime temperature, which had been over 30 degrees every day, dropped to 26.9 degrees.

The crowds at Haeundae and Gwangalli Beach, which used to be crowded with vacationers every day, have noticeably decreased.

This rain is expected to be of great help to farmers suffering from crop damage due to heat waves and droughts and to alleviating green algae in the Nakdong River.

In the rice fields around Gangseo-gu and Gijang-gun, farmers were plowing the soil or irrigating the fields due to the welcome rain.

The Korea Meteorological Administration extended the heavy rain preliminary warning issued for Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam on this day until 6 p.m. and predicted the expected rainfall to be 50 to 150 mm.
