Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe made a whirlwind 28-hour visit to Kumamoto, Japan, to send love and fight for the municipal government

Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe once again presents the "Ironman Journey"! Yesterday (11th) afternoon, I departed from Tainan for Kumamoto, Japan. This morning (12th), on behalf of Tainan citizens, I sent post-earthquake care and love to the disaster area. After paying a visit to the governor of Kumamoto County and communicating with the friendship cities, I immediately took a flight back to Taiwan. I rushed back to Tainan from Kaohsiung Airport and ran two events in Kunyu and Yongkang one after another, completing the cross-country whirlwind trip in just about 28 hours.

Huang Weizhe took a Tigerair Taiwan flight from Tainan Airport at 3:55 yesterday afternoon and arrived in Kumamoto after 6:00 pm Taiwan time. This morning we continued our visit and exchange schedule, and then took a China Airlines flight, which took off from Kumamoto Airport at 10:50 a.m. (Taiwan time) and arrived at Kaohsiung Airport at about 1:30 p.m.

After returning to Taiwan, there was almost no time to breathe. Huang Weizhe immediately rushed back to Tainan. He first went to Sikunyu in the Southern District to participate in activities, and then transferred to Yongkang to attend another trip. From cross-border diplomacy, providing warmth to disaster areas, to local municipal activities, sea, land and air transportation were closely connected with the schedule, which can be called a "28-hour Taiwan-Japan special attack."

Huang Weizhe said that there was an earthquake in Kumamoto recently, and many citizens of Tainan made generous donations. This time, on behalf of the city government and citizens, he brought this love and condolences to Kumamoto. In addition to expressing his concern, he also presented juice made from Tainan mangoes and pineapples to let the local people taste the taste of Tainan fruits. He also paid a visit to the governor of Kumamoto this morning and communicated with the mayors of friendship cities. In addition to continuing the deep friendship between Tainan and Kumamoto, he also took this opportunity to promote Tainan's high-quality agricultural products, allowing Tainan's love and agricultural products to spread warmth across the sea.

From being in Kumamoto one night to showing up in downtown Tainan the next afternoon, Huang Weizhe completed his cross-country trip in less than one and a half days, completing this whirlwind trip to Taiwan and Japan that "sends love + fights for municipal government."
