Türkiye and Russia emphasize the importance of maintaining negotiations on Ukraine

Türkiye considers it important to maintain the negotiation process on Ukraine in order to ultimately bring the parties to a concrete result, a source in the Turkish government told RIA Novosti.

Russia expects that trilateral negotiations on a settlement in Ukraine will resume in the foreseeable future; the Kremlin maintains its openness, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov previously said.

“We consider it necessary to maintain the negotiating trend around Ukraine, since only continuing diplomatic contacts and maintaining dialogue can create conditions for achieving a specific result. It is important not to allow the negotiation process to be completely interrupted,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
