More than 3 thousand voters on border ships, fishing and transport vessels voted early in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory.

Members of the election commission continue to visit voters in remote places in the region, where workers of lighthouses, weather stations, border outposts and other enterprises vote early.

Early voting in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory continues at sea, where more than 3 thousand people have already voted, the regional election commission told RIA Novosti.

“3,392 voters who were on border ships, fishing and transport vessels assigned to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky fulfilled their civic duty,” said a representative of the election commission.

According to him, members of the election commission continue to travel to voters in the most remote places of the region. Now workers of lighthouses, weather stations, border outposts, mining and fishing enterprises, reindeer herding brigades and tribal communities continue to vote early.
