Belarusian Foreign Ministry: Western elites are wreaking havoc, trying to maintain a unipolar world

Western elites are trying to keep the sinking unipolar world afloat and in the end they are only sowing chaos, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov said at a discussion at the UN General Assembly session in New York. His words are quoted by BelTA.

“Belarus and the countries of the global majority do not want to sink with the wreckage of this ship and are choosing a different path,” said the head of the Republic’s Foreign Ministry.

According to him, Minsk is banking on ensuring Eurasian security. Ryzhenkov said that the republic is successfully promoting the idea of ​​​​developing a Eurasian Charter for diversity and multipolarity in the 21st century, which is associated with an attempt to create a new architecture of equal and indivisible security from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the world order based on the rules of the West will collapse sooner or later. Medvedev noted that Washington constantly emphasizes that someone is trying to disrupt the so-called order based on its rules.
