According to a political figure favorability poll released by the "Beautiful Island Electronic News" on the 12th, DPP Hsinchu County Mayor candidate Zheng Chaofang topped the list with 64.0% favorability, while Kuomintang Hsinchu County Mayor candidate Xu Xinying ranked first with 23.1%. In response, Zheng Chaofang's campaign office responded today by saying that it would like to thank the county residents and friends for their recognition and favor. Zheng Chaofang has proven himself with his political achievements and will respond to the expectations of the county residents with serious work in the future.

Xu Xinying said in an interview today that instead of focusing on favorability, people's dislike of money-power politics is the issue that politicians should pay most attention to. "I also believe that the people of Hsinchu County are absolutely unwilling to return to the path of family interest control."
