Troy Parrott scored the first goal in the 13th minute, and his teammates, Adam Idah and Jack Moylan, added the second and third goals in the 16th and 25th minutes.
The Irish national team played the match under intense pressure, as the team retracted the threat to boycott the match after an internal vote among the team members.
Before the start of the match, the Irish players refused to shake hands with the Israeli team, wore black armbands, and lowered their heads during the playing of their opponent's national anthem.
