Iksan City holds party and government council with the Democratic Party of Korea... Cooperation on ‘3 major mega projects’

(Iksan = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Gyeong-jae = Jeonbuk Iksan City announced that it held a party-government council with the Democratic Party of Korea at Iksan Youth City Hall on the 5th.

This council was prepared to reflect the 'three major Iksan-type mega projects', including the Southwest Transportation Hub, Physical AI, and Green Bio, in government projects and to systematically respond to the reflection of the budget at the National Assembly stage.

The council was attended by Democratic Party floor leader Han Byeong-do, Mayor Choi Jeong-ho, City Council Chairman Kim Chung-young, local provincial and city council members, and senior government officials.

Mayor Choi said at the event, "Transportation hubs and physical AI based on agriculture and food are key growth axes that will complete Iksan's great transformation," and emphasized, "We will bring together the capabilities of the region to create tangible results that 270,000 citizens can feel."

Representative Han said, "The three mega projects proposed by Iksan City in the 9th popular election are national tasks that must be pursued in terms of balanced national development," and promised, "I will take careful care so that projects for Iksan's future growth can proceed without obstruction."
