(서울=연합뉴스) 김세린 기자 = 쿠팡은 대한화장품협회와 지난 10일 국내 화장품 기업의 지식재산권 보호와 위조상품 대응 방안을 논의하는 '브랜드 보호 세미나'를 열었다고 13일 밝혔다.

쿠팡은 세미나에서 위조상품 판매자의 진입을 차단하는 사전 예방과 인공지능(AI)·모니터링을 통한 탐지, 신고 접수 시 상품 차단과 판매자 제재로 이어지는 3단계 대응 체계를 소개했다.

또한 위조상품 신고에 신속하게 대응하기 위해 주말과 공휴일, 늦은 저녁 시간에도 이용할 수 있는 전용 핫라인을 시범 운영하기로 했다고 알렸다.

쿠팡은 세미나에서 수렴한 브랜드사의 의견을 위조상품 적발·대응 과정에 반영하고, 주요 브랜드사와 정기적으로 세미나를 열어 지식재산권 보호 체계를 개선할 계획이다.
