A storm warning has been issued in Primorye due to heavy rains on September 30 and October 1.

An additional rise in water levels on the rivers of the region is expected to reach one meter.

VLADIVOSTOK, September 29 – RIA Novosti. Forecasters have announced a storm warning due to heavy rains in Primorye on September 30 and October 1, the regional government reports.

“A storm warning has been announced in Primorye. In the morning and afternoon of September 30, and at night on October 1, there will be heavy rains in places - up to 49 millimeters in 12 hours or less, in the southeast and east - locally very heavy rains with an amount of 50 millimeters or more in 12 hours,” the message says.

On most rivers in the region, an additional rise in water levels of up to one meter is expected.
