Prince Harry is in talks to make a documentary about Princess Diana on the 30th anniversary of her death

Prince Harry is in talks to make a documentary about his mother, Princess Diana of Wales.

The Duke of Sussex wants to mark the 30th anniversary of Diana's death, on August 31 next year, by honoring her memory in the "most meaningful way possible."

Harry approached several of Diana's friends and relatives, including her brother Charles Spencer, about taking part in the documentary.

MOSCOW, September 22 - RIA Novosti. Prince Harry is in talks to create a documentary about his mother, Princess Diana of Wales, who died in 1997, the Telegraph newspaper writes.

"The Duke of Sussex (Prince Harry - ed.) is in talks to make a documentary about his mother, Princess Diana of Wales... The Duke (Sussex - ed.) wants to mark the 30th anniversary of Diana's death, on August 31 next year, by honoring her memory in the 'most meaningful way,'" the newspaper said.

According to the Telegraph, Harry approached several of Diana's friends and relatives, including her brother, Charles Spencer, with a request to take part in the filming of the documentary. However, as the newspaper notes, Spencer indicated in his book "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister" that he wrote it to avoid becoming a "talking head in one of the many planned projects" about his sister, fearing that they would follow the "wrong" concept.

A source close to Prince Harry said the Duke of Sussex has outlined a number of possible projects to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

“Nothing has been decided or confirmed yet, and he (Harry - ed.) is still considering how to best honor her (Princess Diana - ed.) memory in this important anniversary year," the newspaper quotes the source as saying.
