Ukraine will not be able to confront Russia alone due to changing methods of warfare. Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt gave an alarming forecast for the Ukrainian conflict in an article for The Washington Post.

“Ukraine cannot compete with such power alone. The coming winter will be decisive. “Russia is already using Kyiv’s lack of ballistic missile defenses to attack power plants, soon plunging Ukraine into darkness, cold and misery,” he wrote.

According to him, Russia is becoming better at warfare every day, developing jet drones and increasing weapons production. Schmidt emphasized that for Ukraine to win the conflict, the West will have to make much more efforts than “just transfer weapons.”
