The conference focused on the coordination of the entire chain of grain production, purchase, storage, and marketing, promoted grain production and marketing collaboration, promoted the upgrading of the grain industry, and deepened international cooperation in the grain field. It attracted more than 3,100 companies to participate in the exhibition, and more than 20,000 industry personnel attended the conference to discuss new opportunities for the development of the grain industry.

The China Grain Trade Conference is the national comprehensive exhibition with the highest level, largest scale and widest radiation range in the national grain industry. It has been successfully held for seven times in Heilongjiang, Henan, Fujian, Hubei, Liaoning and other places since 2018. It has played an important role in promoting grain circulation, deepening production and marketing cooperation, and assisting rural revitalization.
Liu Huanxin, Party Secretary and Director of the State Grain and Material Reserves Administration, said that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the road to food security with Chinese characteristics has become more solid and broader. No matter how the international situation changes in the future, China's grain market will always remain stable. At the same time, food security involves a wide range of fields and many links. It is necessary to build a platform that connects domestic and foreign countries and integrates production and marketing to empower and improve the efficiency of the industrial chain, supply chain, and value chain.
This trade conference lasts for three days and consists of six major sections: an opening ceremony, an exhibition of high-quality grain and oil products and technical equipment, publicity and promotion of high-quality grain and oil products and production-marketing docking promotion, investment promotion, special grain transactions, and concurrent special events. The content runs through the entire chain of grain production, storage, processing, and consumption, and builds a platform for enterprise innovation and development, discussion and cooperation. At the same time, from the perspective of grain, it focuses on demonstrating the new achievements in promoting the rise of the central region in the new era, creating good conditions for the majority of enterprises to invest and start business in the central region.

It has carefully set up 13 special exhibition areas such as the Hunan special exhibition area, the consumption assistance exhibition area for poverty alleviation areas, the high-quality grain and oil products exhibition area, and the grain and oil machinery and equipment exhibition area. This conference also opened an international high-quality product exhibition area with an area of 3,000 square meters, inviting 12 countries to participate in the exhibition with local specialty products, and 4 industry associations to participate in the conference, focusing on foreign economic and trade docking and international cooperation and exchanges. The first China-Kazakhstan Grain Enterprises Meeting and Exchange Meeting was held to build a special platform for face-to-face communication between enterprises of the two countries, smoothen the cross-border grain supply chain, and deepen production and marketing docking and international cooperation.
As the host, Hunan appeared with the theme of "Jiuzhou Granary", from seed industry research and development to intensive processing, from intelligent grain machines to brand marketing, fully demonstrating the strength of Hunan's entire grain industry chain. As an important major grain-producing area in the country, Hunan's rice sown area and output have long been at the forefront of the country - 1 out of every 9 bowls of rice in the country comes from Hunan.
