The Russian authorities plan to allocate more than 320 billion rubles for the development of education

MOSCOW, September 24 - RIA Novosti. The Russian authorities, within the framework of the draft federal budget for 2027-2029, plan to allocate more than 320 billion rubles for the development of education, follows from a message from the press service of the Russian Ministry of Finance.

“The draft federal budget for 2027-2029 provides funds for the development of education. More than 105 billion rubles are planned to be spent on the construction of 150 schools by 2030,” the statement says.

More than 47 billion rubles are allocated for the renovation of kindergartens, and another 25.7 billion rubles for the construction of new institutions. By 2030, it is planned to build more than 100 kindergartens, the report notes.

“Funds will also be used to repair university dormitories – about 80 billion rubles, and technical schools – 65 billion rubles,” the statement says.

Using the provided funds, the construction of new schools and the modernization of existing institutions, equipping classrooms, payments to class teachers and the implementation of other measures will continue, the report notes.
