The Russian military thwarted an attempt by two groups of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters to break out of encirclement in the north of the Kharkov region. Law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti about this.

“The enemy attempted to leave the encirclement in the Cherny area by two combat groups of the 22nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade on foot. The nomination was discovered in advance by intelligence,” the agency’s interlocutor clarified.

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that the Russian military stopped attempts to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) from encirclement in the Kharkov region. Units of the Russian group of forces “North” continue to tighten the encirclement and expand the external zone of control.
