Guizhou’s inbound tourism continues to heat up, with European and American travel agents organizing groups to cross the border

China News Service, Guiyang, November 7 (Reporter Zhou Yanling) On the 7th, travel agents from the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and other countries entered the colorful Guizhou City and officially launched Guizhou tourism inspection activities. During the day's activities, they experienced door-stopping wine, bamboo pole dancing, and experienced Guizhou's colorful ethnic culture up close at the Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center.

During this trip to Guizhou, the tour group will visit Huangguoshu Waterfall, the world's tallest bridge, the Huajiang Gorge Bridge, the Maling River Gorge, Wanfeng Forest, Libo Xiaoqikong, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, Zhaoxing Dong Village and other places. It will bring together mountain sports, karst landscapes, ethnic customs, and hot springs to experience the diverse business formats of Guizhou's cultural tourism resources.

Marcel Theroux from the UK said that this on-site visit allowed him to see a Guizhou that exceeded his expectations. “The scenery and national culture here are very attractive and worth recommending to European tourists.”

Guizhou, known as China's "Park Province", has seen its cultural tourism market continue to boom in recent years. In the first three quarters of 2026, Guizhou's number of tourists increased by 8.2% year-on-year, and inbound tourists increased by 65.7% year-on-year. Among them, the growth of inbound tourists from the United States, Australia, Canada, France, the United Kingdom and other countries was particularly obvious.

Many European and American travel agents said in interviews that, driven by the visa-free entry policy, the popularity of "China Travel" continues to rise, and many friends around them are looking forward to embarking on this journey. They said that they will design more in-depth travel products in Guizhou suitable for domestic tourists based on this online experience.

In order to facilitate foreign tourists traveling to Guizhou, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport has set up an "Overseas Guest Service Center" in the international arrivals hall to provide one-stop services such as currency exchange, foreign card binding, and transportation transfers. In addition, Guizhou Province’s ticket windows for state-owned 4A-level and above scenic spots and the acceptance of wild cards for four-star and above hotels have achieved full coverage.
