38 regions of the Russian Federation have established one-time payments to pregnant students from 100 to 250 thousand rubles

From 2025, regions of the Russian Federation have the right to establish additional one-time payments of at least 100 thousand rubles for pregnant full-time students.

At the beginning of September 2026, payments of 100 thousand rubles were established in 38 regions.

The largest payment from August 1, 2026 was established in the Smolensk region - 250 thousand rubles.

MOSCOW, September 15 - RIA Novosti. One-time payments to pregnant students in the amount of 100 to 250 thousand rubles have been established by 38 Russian regions, it follows from the laws and regulations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which were analyzed by RIA Novosti.

At the federal level, a single monthly benefit is provided for all low-income pregnant women registered before the 12th week of pregnancy. Its size depends on the regional cost of living. From 2025, regions have the right to establish additional one-time payments of at least 100 thousand rubles for pregnant full-time students.

According to data as of early September 2026, payments of 100 thousand rubles for pregnant girls studying full-time have been established in Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Mari El, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Altai, Stavropol and Khabarovsk territories, Vladimir, Volgograd and Voronezh regions.

The same payments are provided in the Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Kemerovo, Kursk, Leningrad, Magadan, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Penza, Pskov, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, Tambov, Tver, Tomsk, Yaroslavl regions and St. Petersburg.

Moreover, in the Khabarovsk Territory, among the mandatory criteria for receiving such a payment is age from 18 to 23 years. In the Saratov and Penza regions in 2026, payments will be provided to students not only for full-time study, but also for correspondence courses.

In most regions, the main conditions for receiving such payments are a pregnancy period of at least 12 weeks, as well as permanent residence in the territory of the subject for at least three years.
