Baranov killed three and seriously wounded two militants, using the terrain and changing positions, after which the enemy was forced to retreat.

Thanks to the courage and courage of the sergeant, the positions remained under the control of Russian units.

MOSCOW, September 6 - RIA Novosti. The commander of a branch of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Baranov, killed three and seriously wounded two Ukrainian militants who were trying to regain lost positions, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Baranov led the defense of previously occupied positions. A group of six militants tried to return them. The sergeant quickly got his bearings, quickly took up an advantageous fortified position and entered into battle with superior enemy forces. At the same time, he requested fire support from artillery and attack UAVs.

“Showing restraint and composure, he restrained the enemy’s attempts to break through to previously lost positions. Using the terrain, constantly changing position, Vladimir destroyed three militants with well-aimed shots from a standard weapon and seriously wounded two more with a grenade throw,” the report says.

The enemy was forced to retreat, but the remaining militants were destroyed by FPV drones that arrived at Baranov’s request.
