Zhuang Jingcheng, candidate for Hsinchu mayor of the Democratic Progressive Party, proposed three major political views on education, transportation and life in Guanpu. Zhuang Jingcheng emphasized that the Guanpu area has gathered high-tech talents, but the quality of life and public construction have not kept pace with urban development. Zhuang Jingcheng said that four years ago, Gao Hongan made promises such as nearby school admission, complete middle school and Guanpu Sky Bridge, but there are still many promises that have not been implemented. If Gao Hongan can't do it, let Zhuang Jingcheng do it!

In terms of education, Zhuang Jingcheng pointed out that Gao Hongan promised to "enroll in schools nearby" in 2022. Four years later, schools in Guanpu area still implement total enrollment control, and the insufficient enrollment capacity has not been solved yet. Zhuang Jingcheng proposed "adding 1 more primary and secondary schools in Guanpu" to re-examine the urban planning land and increase the capacity of junior high schools and elementary schools so that children can grow up well in Guanpu.

Zhuang Jingcheng criticized that Gao Hongan once promised to promote the transformation of junior high schools into complete middle schools, but after taking office, he canceled the plan to complete the new subjects and completed middle school, and changed his promises to parents at will.

Zhuang Jingcheng said that education policies cannot be written before the election and overturned arbitrarily after the election. Zhuang Jingcheng promised to establish a distinctive, independently operated, complete middle school and introduce technological literacy courses such as AI to increase children's options for studying locally.

In terms of transportation, Zhuang Jingcheng said that the most direct pain point for Guanpu residents when commuting to get off work and picking up their children every day is traffic jams. Zhuang Jingcheng proposed smart traffic signal control to improve peak traffic flow, and focus on MRT entering Guanpu, with full coverage of county and city shared buses and YouBike stations to increase the capacity of public transportation and make residents less tired when entering and exiting Guanpu.

Regarding the Guanpu Sky Bridge, Zhuang Jingcheng pointed out that the construction of public buildings is only basic, and more importantly, the engineering quality and design aesthetics should become a part of urban governance. In the future, when promoting the Guanpu Sky Bridge, the project quality, usage requirements, and overall design will all be monitored, so that public construction is not only easy to use, but also beautiful, and becomes part of Hsinchu's urban aesthetics.

In terms of life, Zhuang Jingcheng proposed to build an "all-age living center" in Guanpu, integrating public care, day care, night care, parent-child centers and Evergreen Academy to meet the living needs of different generations; at the same time, introducing international-level art and cultural activities, allowing high-quality art to enter the community and integrate into the daily lives of citizens.

Zhuang Jingcheng said that whether a city is well governed depends on the daily lives of its citizens. From children's schooling, transportation to and from get off work, family childcare to the quality of public construction, these are all things citizens really feel about the municipal administration. Zhuang Jingcheng emphasized that as Guanpu gathers high-tech talents, the quality of life should keep pace with the times. If Gao Hongan cannot do it, Zhuang Jingcheng can do it.
