President Lai called for support for local talents and let the central government join hands with local governments to make Nantou more progressive. President Lai said that in the last year of the Ma government’s administration, the central government’s budget for Nantou County was 16.5 billion yuan. The following year, Tsai Ing-wen took office and after he became president, the subsidies to Nantou increased every year. Last year, when he took office, he gave Nantou County a budget of 16.5 billion yuan. 27.9 billion yuan, which is 11.4 billion yuan more than the Ma government. This year, it is 2.3 billion yuan more than last year, reaching 30.2 billion yuan, which exceeds 30 billion yuan. I hope voters will support Wen Shizheng and Zhang Yuanting to work hard for Nantou and do more construction.

Wen Shizheng said that many elders in Nantou cannot use up their 1,000 yuan monthly credit card. In addition to increasing the limit of the card to 1,800 yuan, he also wants to expand the use of the card to high-speed rail, MRT, taxis, registration fees and shopping. If it is not used up in the month, it can be accumulated, which is equivalent to more than 20,000 yuan in one year and more than 80,000 yuan in four years, making it more convenient for the elders to use.
