A 4-year-old boy climbed out of a balcony and fell on Liu Mingchuan Road in Keelung City last night and was injured. Relevant units from the Keelung City Government visited the hospital today. The boy is now conscious and his injuries are stable. It is understood that the parents went out for a short time when the incident occurred, leaving the young child alone at home, causing an accident. The Municipal Children and Juvenile Affairs Department stated that if the investigation is found to be true, it will be punished in accordance with the "Child and Juvenile Welfare and Rights Protection Act" and the parents will be required to receive parent-child education counseling.

If the investigation is found to be true, the city government will impose a fine of not less than 3,000 yuan but not more than 15,000 yuan in accordance with the law, and will also force parents to receive more than 4 hours and less than 5 hours of parenting education.
