Approved for establishment of housing redevelopment association in Zone A, Jayang 4-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul

Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (Chief Kim Kyung-ho) announced on the 11th that it had approved the establishment of an association for the 'Jayang 4-dong Area A Housing Redevelopment Project' in the area of ​​57-90 Jayang-dong.

This area has an area of ​​139,130 ​​m2, and the maintenance plan was decided in July of last year and designated and announced as a maintenance area. The union held an inaugural general meeting last July to elect the union president and executives, and then applied to the district for approval to establish the union last month.

According to the current construction plan, there will be 19 apartment buildings from 3 underground floors to 49 floors above ground, 2,999 households, and neighborhood living facilities. However, the number of households and construction scale may change during the future project implementation plan approval process.

Once the redevelopment project is completed, the district expects that the residential environment in this area, which was crowded with old single-family and multi-family homes and had poor walking and parking conditions, will be greatly improved.

District Mayor Kim Gyeong-ho said, “Approval of association establishment is a full-fledged starting point for improving the residential environment in Area A of Jayang 4-dong,” and added, “We will closely monitor the project implementation process to meet the expectations of residents and spare no effort in providing administrative support to ensure that the maintenance project proceeds without a hitch.”
