Early voting in State Duma elections abroad begins on September 4

Early voting in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the ninth convocation at polling stations established abroad begins on September 4.

Early voting will be organized at 14 polling stations in Bahrain, Israel, Iraq, Yemen, China and Kuwait, as well as in 45 countries where Russians are in remote areas.

According to the law, early voting at polling stations established abroad begins no earlier than 15 days before the main election day. This year, overseas early voting starts on September 4.

Early voting will be organized at 14 polling stations in Bahrain, Israel, Iraq, Yemen, China and Kuwait, and in 45 countries where Russians are in remote areas, voting by separate groups of voters will take place.

Earlier, the Russian Central Election Commission reported that 319 polling stations in 152 countries would be opened abroad for voting in the State Duma elections in 2026. The number of voters outside the country is more than 1 million 816 thousand people, in the city of Baikonur - more than 11.5 thousand people.
