Last week, Vladimir Putin held talks with Pashinyan on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Bishkek. During the meeting, the leaders discussed the need to organize a referendum in Armenia to close the topic of the republic’s membership in the EAEU or joining the European Union.

Following the negotiations, Putin said that he had invited the Prime Minister of Armenia to Moscow to discuss specific issues of interaction between the two countries.
