Lin Yuting, associate professor of the Department of Physical Education at the Chinese Culture University, defeated Chinese player Yang Chengyu 5-0 in the women's 60kg gold medal match at the Aichi Nagoya Asian Games this year (2026), successfully defending the Asian Games gold medal, and setting a record for the second consecutive Asian Games boxing championship and standing on the podium for three consecutive years. Culture University will hold "Fighting with All Our Strength: Gold Medal Senior Sister Lin Yuting's Dream Conversation and "Dreams Are Heavier Than Pain" New Book Sharing Session" on October 23 from 11:00 to 12:00 am. Lin Yuting will be invited to share with teachers and students about sports training, international competitions and the process of chasing dreams. There are about 100 seats on site, and online registration is required.

Lin Yuting is also an alumnus of the Department of Martial Arts and Chinese Martial Arts of the Cultural University. This Asian Games was upgraded to the women's 60kg category and advanced all the way to the gold medal match. In the final, she once again ran into Yang Chengyu, who she had played against at this year's WB Cup Guiyang Station. In the first round, Lin Yuting controlled the rhythm with her jab to gain a scoring advantage. In the second round, she continued to maintain the lead with effective strikes. In the last round, she used flexible steps to dodge the opponent's attack and counterattack in time, and finally won the gold medal 5-0. The president of the Cultural University Wang Ziqi and the teacher of the physical education room went to the airport to pick up Lin Yuting and coach Zeng Ziqiang.

Cultural University stated that Lin Yuting was adjusted from the 57kg category in the previous Asian Games to the 60kg category in this year's Asian Games, and still successfully defended her title, becoming the first Taiwanese boxer to win gold medals in the Asian Games boxing event for two consecutive years. As an alumnus of Hong Kong Culture University and currently an associate professor in the Department of Physical Education, she also brings the competitive experience accumulated in the international arena back to campus to accompany students in exploring sports majors and future directions.

The school library has also launched the "First Move to Win Gold: Straight Punch and Reading Attack" event. From now until October 15, teachers and students can get a lottery ticket for every five books borrowed from the self-service book lending machine. After the event, the number of borrowed books will be counted, and the top 30 will receive a new book "Dreams Are Heavier than Pain" by Lin Yuting, extending the Asian Games gold medal craze to campus reading.
