Recently, Nujiang Yunka Biotechnology Co., Ltd. organized a delegation with the Yunnan Cloud Enterprise Overseas Alliance to visit Ethiopia and Kenya, the two major African core coffee producing countries. At the Yunnan-Kenya Coffee and Economic and Trade Industry Promotion and Exchange Meeting, Nujiang Yunka Biotechnology Co., Ltd. introduced its independently developed full-process digital traceability system for coffee. This system breaks through the development bottleneck of the traditional coffee industry of "emphasis on planting, light on data, heavy on products, and light on traceability", and builds a full-chain digital closed loop from field planting, farming operations, harvesting and processing, batch sorting, quality verification to terminal traceability inquiry. Relying on core technologies such as big data collection, standardized data modeling, visual traceability display, and digital supply chain matching, the system can realize the recordability, traceability, controllability, and certification of the entire coffee production process. It perfectly meets the high-end traceability standards of international specialty coffee trade. It is a leading domestic coffee digital solution that is suitable for major production areas around the world, and has strong overseas promotion and implementation value.
On the day of the promotion meeting, after several hours of negotiation, Nujiang Yunka Biotechnology Co., Ltd. successfully signed the "Memorandum of Cooperation on Coffee Digital Traceability Technology" with Xcado Limited, a local Internet technology company in Kenya. In the next step, the two parties will promote the localization and iteration of China's independent coffee traceability system in Kenya, optimize digital modules based on planting, processing, and trade scenarios in African production areas, and output Chinese digital industry standards adapted to overseas origins. At the same time, the two parties will build a digital collection system in African production areas, establish standardized digital files for farmers' production, processing plants, and batch quality control, and make up for the shortcomings in the digitalization of the African coffee industry.
In the future, the two parties will rely on digital systems to open up a two-way smart supply chain between China and Africa, use data to empower precise docking of production and sales, enable high-quality African coffee resources to efficiently connect with China's high-end consumer market through a digital certification system, use digital traceability to empower brand upgrades, use China's digital credit system to improve the compliance and branding levels of African coffee, and at the same time continue to export Yunnan coffee digital technology, digital models and digital standards.
This cooperation has completely broken the previous cooperation pattern of single raw material trade in Yunnan's coffee industry, achieving a historic transformation from "introducing seeds and exporting products" to "exporting digital technology, exporting scientific and technological innovation standards, and exporting smart models."
