Rural Development Institute and Everone Soft develop low-carbon agricultural product certification information app

(Iksan = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Jin-bang = The Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency announced on the 25th that it has developed a low-carbon agricultural product certification information app with Everone Soft that allows consumers who purchase low-carbon certified agricultural products to easily check the certification using their mobile phones.

Rural Development Institute provided public data on low-carbon agricultural product certification to Everone Soft so that information corresponding to the certification number can be checked in the app.

Consumers can automatically check for certification by taking a photo of the low-carbon certification number displayed on agricultural products with their cell phone camera.

Previously, there was the inconvenience of consumers having to check the authentication number displayed on the product themselves or search for it separately.

In particular, it is characterized by the fact that it can be recognized simply by taking a picture rather than entering the authentication number directly, making it easy for consumers who are not familiar with using smartphones to use it.

The low-carbon certification information app is available for the Android operating system.

Lee Seok-hyung, director of the Korea Rural Development Institute, said, "We will continue to expand cooperation and open additional high-quality public data so that consumers can easily and conveniently check information on certified agricultural products."
