Speaking of the changes in his hometown, 23-year-old Chen Gang is very excited. In the past, it was windy, sandy, cold, and had few job opportunities. Many young people had no choice but to go out to work.

As the national integrated computing power network advances to the western desert areas, Ulanqab has been included in eight major computing power hub nodes, and more than 100 data center projects have been launched here.

Chen Gang was determined to seize the opportunity and join this cutting-edge industry. He participated in local skills training classes, ranging from circuit principles to HVAC equipment, and studied until late at night every day. Finally, he successfully joined a data center as an infrastructure operator. Last month, he was promoted to the building shift leader.

This year, more than 20 computing power companies have landed in Ulanqab. Data centers rising from the ground have connected the once deserted prairie town with the most advanced cutting-edge industries, bringing new hopes and dreams to the young people here.

The "six nets" are also activated in Lotte Creek Town on the north bank of the Yangtze River. Due to the construction of the new Three Gorges Water Transport Channel, 188 businesses have opened here in just four months, with 60 new businesses in September alone. This newly opened hotel was renovated by Han Qingmu, a small town resident, who renovated his old house. He also gave it a resounding name - New Channel Inn.

This small courtyard, which is being renovated and repaired, is a river view cafe being built by foreign entrepreneur Zhou Yun. Like the landscape here and optimistic about the future development, he and his wife decided to build their home here. The six sweet-scented osmanthus trees in the courtyard were specially transplanted by him from the relocation village of the New Channel Project.

From the isolated islands in the sea lit by smart microgrids to the endless flow of cargo ships in the Pinglu Canal, the reach of the "Six Networks" is constantly extending to a wider land, bringing opportunities and development to more people.
