أوقف نيوم سلسلة الهلال التاريخية دون خسارة في دوري المحترفين السعودي، بعدما حرمه من الوصول إلى المباراة الـ48 توالياً، ليبقى الرقم القياسي المسجل باسم الأهلي، بـ51 مباراة متتالية دون خسارة بين عامي 2014 و2016، بعيداً عن متناول الهلال في محاولته الحالية.
ودخل الهلال مواجهة نيوم وهو يمتلك ثاني أطول سلسلة دون خسارة في تاريخ دوري المحترفين، بعدما حافظ على سجله في 47 مباراة متتالية خلال موسمي 2025-2026 و2026-2027، وكان يحتاج إلى أربع مباريات إضافية لمعادلة رقم الأهلي، وخمس للانفراد بالرقم القياسي.
With the series stopping at 47 matches, Al Hilal remained in second place historically, one match ahead of its previous series, which reached 46 matches during the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Al-Ahly maintains the record after playing 51 consecutive matches without losing between 2014 and 2016, while Al-Hilal ranks second and third with 47 and 46 matches, and Al-Shabab comes fourth with a series of 34 matches between 2011 and 2012, then Al-Nasr with 32 matches during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Al Hilal's loss to NEOM was not only related to the historical series, as the match carried a rare scenario for the blue team after it ended the first half late with two goals to none.
Since the start of the Professional League, Al Hilal has only trailed by 0-2 at the end of the first half six times, the most recent of which was the confrontation with NEOM at home in the 2026-2027 season.
Al-Hilal previously experienced the same scenario against Al-Fateh away from home in the 2024-2025 season, Al-Taei at home in the 2022-2023 season, Al-Ittihad away from home in the 2020-2021 season, Al-Hazm away from home in the 2018-2019 season, and Hajr away from home in the 2012-2013 season.
It is noteworthy that the confrontation with NEOM became only the third case in which Al Hilal trailed by two clean goals in the first half during the last eight seasons, and it is also only the second time among the six cases in which this happened at home, compared to four times outside its stadium.

أبدى الإيطالي سيموني إنزاغي، مدرب فريق الهلال، إحباطه عقب خسارة فريقه أمام نيوم 0 - 2، الاثنين، على ملعب «المملكة أرينا»، ضمن منافسات الدوري السعودي للمحترفين، مؤكداً تحمله مسؤولية الخسارة، ومشيراً إلى أن فريقه لم يظهر بالمستوى المطلوب في الشوط الأول.
Inzaghi said in the press conference after the match: “In the first half, we did not perform as expected, and we conceded two goals. In the second half, we entered strongly, but we were not lucky in scoring goals. The players gave what they had to do.”
وأضاف: «صنعنا 5 فرص في الشوط الأول، لكننا لم نوفق في استغلالها، وكذلك تألق حارس نيوم في التصدي لفرصة كنو خلال الشوط الثاني. I repeat that I bear full responsibility for the loss, and such losses bring awareness to the players.”
He continued: “We were frustrated by the loss, as we are at the top of the standings, and we did not want to lose. “This is my first loss in Saudi Arabia since I arrived, and all we have to do now is learn from it.”
وعن تكرار استقبال الهلال أهدافاً من الكرات الثابتة، قال المدرب الإيطالي: «الهدف الأول الذي تعرضنا له جاء بالخطأ في مرمانا، وفي الهدف الثاني حدثت بعض الأخطاء في التغطية، وسنعمل باستمرار على تحسين تعاملنا مع هذه الكرات».
ورداً على سؤال حول تحمله مسؤولية الخسارة، في ظل الاستقطابات الكبيرة التي أجرتها إدارة النادي خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية، قال إنزاغي: «صحيح أن الإدارة قامت بعمل كبير، لكننا ما زلنا في صدارة الترتيب، ولا ألوم اللاعبين. “I am responsible for this painful loss, which will deprive me of sleep.”

وقال غالتييه في المؤتمر الصحافي عقب المباراة: «حققنا إنجازاً عظيماً ونتيجة عظيمة، وأنا سعيد بالفريق. Our mentality was excellent, and I asked the players to make it difficult for Al Hilal to win. وأشار المدرب الفرنسي إلى أن الكرات الثابتة كانت جزءاً مهماً من تحضيرات فريقه، وقال: «تدربنا كثيراً على الكرات الثابتة، وعملنا مع اللاعبين على استغلالها، ليس منذ هذا الموسم فقط، بل منذ الموسم الماضي».
وتابع: «في العام الماضي لم نكن موفقين أمام فرق المقدمة، لكن هذا الموسم لدينا فريق محترف، واللاعبون أصبحوا أكثر نضجاً. وكي تفوز على فريق مثل الهلال، الذي يعد من أفضل الفرق في آسيا، يجب أن يحالفك التوفيق».
وعن وجود المدرب السعودي ضمن جهازه الفني، قال غالتييه: «مازن مدرب طموح، ويعمل معنا، ويساعدنا كثيراً، خصوصاً بخبرته في التعامل مع اللاعبين السعوديين».
