Among them, the 13 classic red tourism scenic spots in Guangdong that were monitored received 195,000 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%; the 100 rural tourist spots and historical villages included in the monitoring received 302,000 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%; the 100 key public cultural institutions included in the monitoring received 389,000 citizen tourists, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%.
During the National Day holiday, Guangdong relied on local cultural and tourism resources to deeply integrate cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, food activities and other activities with scenic tours and cultural tourism experiences to attract tourists to immerse themselves in festival culture and regional customs. It used the festival as an opportunity to create a cultural tourism consumption scene and promote the two-way improvement of cultural and economic benefits.
