Chen Zihao relied on an error and Jiang Shaohong hit the first and second bases with 1 out. Zeng Sheng'an blasted a 3-point bomb to help Wei lead 3:1. Li Kaiwei hit the pitcher's head-on attack ball, and Felix subconsciously blocked the ball with his right foot. Enduring the pain to complete the number of outs.

Felix reluctantly picked up the ball and passed it to first base to complete the out count. Then he fell to the ground in pain. After getting up, he limped and was unable to throw anymore. He left the game with the support of the defender and teammates. The team stated that Felix was hit in the left calf and is currently swollen. The brothers sent Cai Qizhe to take over the pitching, walked Guo Tianxin and then eliminated Zhang Zhengyu to end the 5th inning.
