On the 22nd, at the 2026 Hangzhou·Yunqi Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Yunqi Conference) that opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Yuan Juzheng, a professor at National Taiwan University, said in an interview with China News Service.

The Yunqi Conference brings together the upstream, midstream and downstream of the cloud computing and artificial intelligence industry chain and is an event that showcases advanced scientific and technological achievements. This year, more than 1,000 companies will appear in the 50,000-square-meter smart technology exhibition area.

Yuan Juzheng, who participated in the Yunqi Conference for the first time, said that this exhibition allowed him to see "the development direction of mainland science and engineering elites."

In recent years, Yuan Juzheng has taken students from Taiwan universities to the mainland for academic exchanges many times, which he believes is “a must-do”.

"I must bring Taiwan's best students to see the mainland, so that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait can understand each other better." Yuan Juzheng said that the mainland's technological development is already very advanced, and Taiwan also has high-quality engineering talents.
