At the meeting, Ren Yong, director of the Rule of Law Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, said that so far, more than 90,000 cases involving prominent administrative law enforcement issues involving enterprises have been investigated and rectified across the country, saving nearly 31 billion yuan in economic losses for enterprises. The frequency of administrative inspections has dropped significantly, and the accuracy and effectiveness of inspections have been significantly improved. Currently, this work has entered the stage of normalization.

On the one hand, we will continue to correct the problems of arbitrary and abusive law enforcement to further prevent arbitrary interference with the normal production and operation of enterprises; on the other hand, we must also resolutely correct problems such as inaction and selective law enforcement, consolidate regulatory responsibilities, maintain the bottom line of fair competition, and create a market environment for healthy development.

At the same time, we will also deepen governance at the source, accelerate the improvement of mechanisms, study and introduce systems such as methods for setting benchmarks for administrative discretion and management methods for administrative law enforcement personnel, so as to promote normal and long-term standardization of administrative law enforcement behaviors.
