More than 50 thousand volunteers will help voters at polling stations throughout Russia during the upcoming elections.

Elections of deputies to the State Duma of the ninth convocation and direct elections of senior officials in 8 regions of Russia will be held on a single voting day in 2026.

Voting will take place over three days, from September 18 to 20, 2026.

MOSCOW, September 17 - RIA Novosti. More than 50 thousand volunteers will help voters at polling stations across Russia during the upcoming elections, Central Election Commission Chairman Ella Pamfilova said on Thursday.

“We have simultaneously signed an agreement and are very actively working with the largest platform in the country for volunteer work - this is Dobro.rf. And our volunteers register there, these are our young people with whom we work a lot... They are involved in the electoral process, and at the same time helping people. This year we have more than 50 thousand volunteers from all regions of Russia taking part in the project,” Pamfilova said, giving a report on the readiness of the electoral system for the upcoming elections.
