A man surnamed Lu in Taipei City couldn't control himself after drinking. He repeatedly disturbed his wife and daughter, and even yelled and cursed. The two parties communicated several times to no avail. Lu's wife could only lock the door to protect herself after her husband drank. In the early morning of August 11, the year before last, Lu Nan was drunk again. When his request to talk to his wife was rejected, he broke the door panel with his bare hands, opened the door, looked at his wife, and continued to roar. Lu's wife couldn't bear the disturbance and called the police to arrest him. The prosecutor's investigation revealed that Mr. Lu often lost control when he was drunk. When he was drunk, he would yell at his wife, insult her, or threaten her to endanger safety. A year before the incident, he had obtained a general protection order issued by Shilin District Court. However, over the years, Mr. Lu's wife could only lock the door of the house with their underage daughter to protect herself.

On the day of the incident, Lu Nan drank until 4 am. After returning home, he asked to have an interview with his wife, but Lu's wife was worried about her own safety and was unwilling to cooperate. In the end, he destroyed the door panel with his bare hands, reached behind the door panel, turned the door lock, and talked to his frightened wife. Seeing that he could not protect himself through physical separation, he began to threaten, "Ah, what do you mean by locking the door? You are worried that I will rape you all day long." Afterwards, call the police immediately. After an investigation, the prosecutor determined that Lu Nan's behavior involved crimes such as coercion and intimidation. After the trial, the judge believed that Lu Nan did not want to resolve differences and resolve disputes between husband and wife in a rational way. Just because he was dissatisfied with his wife's locking of the door, he broke into the house and threatened, which was unreasonable, instilling fear in people and infringing on his wife's freedom of movement. Considering that he admitted the crime during the trial, had no previous convictions, had good behavior, etc., but still did not get his wife's forgiveness, etc., he was sentenced to 50 days of detention for the crime of coercion and was fined 50,000 yuan.
