Tropical depression affects the coast of South China and the South China Sea
The center of the South China Sea Tropical Depression was located at 5 o'clock in the morning today (13th) on the central and western part of the South China Sea, about 205 kilometers southwest of Sanya City, Hainan Province, at 17.1 degrees north latitude and 108.0 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center was level 6 (12 meters/second), and the minimum air pressure at the center was 1006 hPa. It is expected that the low pressure will move westward at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. It will make landfall on the coast of central Vietnam from this afternoon to night, and its intensity will gradually weaken after landing.
