Serbian President Vučić emphasized the importance of friendship with the United States, China and the Russian Federation on the path to the EU

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that maintaining traditional friendly relations with other countries helps Serbia maintain connections, including direct flights, with the United States, China and the Russian Federation on the path to EU membership.

Vučić expressed gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping for his support during the COVID-19 pandemic and investments of paramount importance.

Preserving traditional friendly relations with other countries on the path to EU membership helps Serbia maintain connections, including direct flights, with the United States, China and the Russian Federation, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, speaking at the UN General Assembly.

“Our European path does not mean abandoning traditional friendship, thanks to which Belgrade is one of the rare European capitals from where you can fly to the USA, China and the Russian Federation,” the Serbian President said.

He noted that he must especially thank Chinese President Xi Jinping for his support during the COVID-19 pandemic and investments of paramount importance.
