In Primorye, six new agricultural classes were opened in schools in three municipalities

Six new agricultural classes have been opened in schools in three municipalities of the Primorsky Territory to introduce students to the agricultural industry.

Agricultural classes were opened within the framework of the federal project “Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex”.

Since 2022, the number of agricultural classes in Primorye has increased from 21 to 138 in 22 districts of the region.

VLADIVOSTOK, September 11 – RIA Novosti. Six new agricultural classes have been opened in schools in three municipalities of Primorye to introduce students to the agricultural industry, the regional government reports.

“Schoolchildren in the village of Mikhailovka, Primorsky Territory, can now get acquainted with the modern agricultural industry right at their desks. Two agricultural technology classes have opened at the school named after A.I. Krushanov - for students in the seventh and tenth grades,” the message says.

In total, six such classes began operating in the region on September 1: two each in the schools of Tavrichanka, Nadezhdinsky district, and Chernyshevka, Anuchinsky municipal district. Agricultural classes were opened within the framework of the federal project “Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex”.

Opening a new direction at the Mikhailovka school, Deputy Minister of Education of Primorye Anna Mekhovskaya said that students will be able to master the agricultural field at a modern level and in a new format. This will also help children become familiar with professions in this field and allow them to make more informed career choices.

As part of the agrotechnological classes, schoolchildren will be able to visit real production facilities and see how modern technologies are implemented in practice. In particular, they will be helped by specialists from the Ussuri Agro-Industrial College, Primorsky State Agricultural and Technological University and the Rusagro enterprise.

To operate classes at the school, specialized equipment was updated, furniture was purchased, and classrooms and laboratories were renovated. Local agricultural producers helped with this.
