Veterans are welcome in government, education and business after SVO

Military personnel who have returned to civilian life will be in demand wherever responsibility, discipline and the ability to make decisions are required, said the chief of the main headquarters of the Yunarmiya movement, the representative of the federal five of the United Russia list in the State Duma elections, Hero of the Russian Federation Vladislav Golovin.

“Wherever responsibility, discipline and the ability to make decisions are required. This is not necessarily the military sphere - it is state and municipal administration, education, industry, entrepreneurship,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti, answering the question in which areas will be most in demand for military personnel returning to civilian life.

Golovin noted that the “Time of Heroes” program and its regional analogues are already preparing veterans to work in government and public positions, and the “OWN Business” program, which is supported by United Russia, helps to open their own business.

“In schools, veterans can become mentors - this is not about “telling about the war,” but about the transfer of life experience, discipline, values. In industry - as engineers, managers, production commanders. In education - as teachers, curators,” Hero added.

In his opinion, a person who was responsible for his subordinates in battle is capable of bearing responsibility in peaceful life, you just need to give him a chance and remove the barriers.

“First of all, there must be the position of the veteran himself, it is necessary to focus on his desire, abilities, on what his soul lies in, where best a fighter can apply his knowledge. There is no task of putting a person just somewhere, a managerial post in our country is a very big responsibility that requires knowledge, effective decisions, therefore, without the personal motivation and interest of the veterans themselves, nothing good will come of it,” Golovin concluded.
