Kuban authorities issued almost 6 thousand certificates for treatment to veterans of the Northern Military District

KRASNODAR, September 17 – RIA Novosti. In 2026, the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory provided almost 6 thousand certificates to participants and veterans of the Northern Military District to pay for sanatorium and resort treatment in the region, said Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.

“In Kuban, there are more than 30 measures to support our defenders, and one of the key ones is the opportunity to relax and improve their health in sanatoriums at the expense of regional funds. This is really necessary for fighters who have gone through great trials and were injured. Over the entire period of the program, more than 30.3 thousand certificates have already been issued, including almost 6 thousand this year,” Kondratyev told reporters.

According to him, thanks to the certificates, participants and veterans of the Northern Military District, as well as their families, can relax in 53 sanatoriums, which are located in Gelendzhik, Anapa, Sochi, Tuapse Municipal District, Goryachy Klyuch, Novorossiysk, Yeisk, Krasnodar and other municipalities of the region. The list of institutions will increase, the governor assured.

The press service of the regional administration clarified that families of fighters are offered recovery programs, strengthening the immune system and general health programs, and psychological assistance is also provided in health resorts. According to the press service, widows of participants and veterans also have the right to free one-time sanatorium-resort treatment if their spouse died while performing the tasks of a special military operation.
