All members won awards, and won one special prize, one first prize, and one third prize in one fell swoop, achieving a "Grand Slam."
It is understood that all three teams are from the digital economy professional master's program of the Institute of Industrial Economics of Jinan University. Behind the outstanding achievements is the reform and exploration of talent training that Jinan University Institute of Industrial Economics has taken over the years to take root in the industry management profession and continue to deepen the integration of industry and education.
According to reports, as an important position in the national key discipline of industrial economics, the Institute of Industrial Economics of JNU has independently developed the "industrial chain + RSCP" industrial analysis paradigm and continues to organize graduate students to track and study the trends of cutting-edge industries in the Greater Bay Area. At present, it has completed more than 50 high-quality industry research reports in key national strategic industries such as new generation artificial intelligence, intelligent network connection, new energy vehicles, intelligent equipment, integrated circuits, biomedicine, and hydrogen energy.
Rich first-hand research results continue to feed back into classroom teaching, ensuring that teaching content keeps up with the forefront of the industry and is in line with industry realities, truly realizing the resonance of teaching and industry, and the resonance of theory and practice. In terms of faculty allocation, the college has hired more than 40 industry mentors from leading companies such as Tencent, Midea, and Sanqi Interactive Entertainment. Together with the academic mentors in the college, they form a dual guidance team of "academic mentors + industry mentors" to deeply participate in topic research, thesis guidance and practical guidance, and provide students with full-chain support from theory to practice.
Tao Feng, dean of the Institute of Industrial Economics at Jinan University, pointed out that traditional business talent training has the outstanding problem of "emphasis on management and light on technology", which creates a large gap with the demand for compound talents in the digital economy era. To this end, the college has taken the initiative to break down the barriers between disciplines and institutions, and added technical courses such as "Introduction to the Frontiers of Digital Technology" and "Artificial Intelligence Application and Practice".
