War and Reconciliation Message from Iranian President Pezeshkian

According to Iran's ISNA news agency, speaking at the General Assembly of the Islamic Medical Association in Tehran, Pezeshkian made evaluations about the war with the USA. Pezeşkiyan stated that the continuation of the war is not an inevitable goal, and that the war should be ended by preserving the country's power and gains.

Iranian President Pezeshkian said, "The war must end at some point. It is better for us to end the war today, when we have power and prestige and the whole world accepts our victory." he said. The Iranian President argued that this does not mean that the country will step back in the face of possible attacks.

President Pezeshkiyan said, "We will never bow our heads in the face of tyranny. We will stand against them until our last breath and give them a crushing response." he said.

The agreement is "honorable and valuable" for Iran. Pezeshkian said that the agreement, which was signed on June 17 through the mediation of the USA and Pakistan, but was not implemented due to disagreements between the parties, was "honorable and valuable" for Iran. Stating that the agreement was approved in "unity and solidarity" by the Supreme National Security Council, the Iranian President said in his speech: "They cannot find even a single article in this agreement that means surrender. All obligations belong to the other party." He stated:

Pezeşkiyan also emphasized that war and negotiation processes are not alternatives to each other, and noted that the agreements made should be adhered to, referring to Hazrat Ali's approach to peace.

Giving the message of "unity" in a significant part of his speech, Pezeşkiyan said, "If we are together, we are strong, if there is separation, we will perish." made his assessment.
