The explosion occurred due to the fact that a 36-year-old soldier, who was on leave, detonated a grenade during a conflict with passers-by; he was detained.

MOSCOW, September 27 – RIA Novosti. A Ukrainian soldier detonated a grenade in the town of Sheptytsky in the Lviv region in western Ukraine, injuring four people, the regional police department said.

“There was a report of an explosion that occurred on Taras Shevchenko Avenue in the city of Sheptytsky... As a result of the explosion, no one was killed, four people were injured by shrapnel: three women aged 17, 18 and 56 years and a 26-year-old man,” says a message published on the police Telegram channel.
