On August 26, a debris flow disaster in Nepal affected the Gyirong Port of Gyirong County, Shigatse City, Tibet, China, causing heavy casualties and loss of contact. China's national comprehensive fire rescue team adopts "water, land and air" three-dimensional search and rescue tactics in disaster-stricken areas, combining land hiking, waterway investigation of rivers, aerial drone reconnaissance and material delivery, and using advanced scientific and technological means such as multiple types of drones, slope radars, satellite remote sensing, life detection equipment and Beidou terminals to overcome difficulties such as traffic interruptions, communication obstructions, high-altitude hypoxia and complex burials, and maximize the search scope. As of the morning of September 2, the land rescue channel in the core area has been basically opened, and the rescue team has dynamically adjusted tactics to fully release rescue effectiveness.

After the retaining wall of Songfu Road in Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung City collapsed for the first time on August 28, it collapsed again on the evening of the 30th. Although no casualties were caused, the residents were left in terror at night, and the city government has carried out evacuation and emergency repair operations.

As of August 30, the Ministry of Emergency Management and the National Fire and Rescue Bureau have mobilized 711 fire rescue personnel, 120 vehicles, and 13 search and rescue dogs to continue an uninterrupted search for the debris flow-stricken area in Jilong County, Shigatse City, Tibet.
